Gas tank level indicator

I have a GMS gas level indicator on the dash of my motorhome I know how it works but there is a green button that has an illuminated underneath the led bars that make up the gauge I haven’t noticed it before but it won’t extinguish if I depress it, do not know what this button does? Can someone enlighten me please I find it annoying if I can’t find out what something is for ???? Also there is a black switch just inside the habitation door that lights up when you operate it but doesn’t appear to do anything ? Anyone one know please?
