Weather turned out better than forecasted Tony, very windy on two days, today was cool but sunny,nice relaxing 5 days in a pod with outside hot tub, wonderful views of Saltwick bay, going to cold tonight.

Bright but chilly here today enough to have the heater on in the workshop for the first half an hour after lunch.
Our son had planned that I should go to Sheffield with him tomorrow but the forecast is for heavy rain so I bribed him with a chippy lunch instead.
Hopefully the wet weather will ease by Monday whilst we are in Scarborough . Just a couple of chill out days at a hotel rather than the van. We deserve time out to clear our heads now our visitor has gone back to the southern hemisphere.

Forecasted heavy rain started during the night, pouring down now, Tags walk will have to wait for a few hours.

9 degrees and cloudy but not a bad morning out and about. Forecast frosts overnight for next four or five nights, time to hook up the wxl to ehu and put oil heater in, don't want to empty and drain van as it will be away with no2 daughter at end of next week, and we will be away next month.

Stay warm folsom, Groundhog may even need to put shorts away

Quite a pleasant day yesterday if on the cool side. Pretty much the same today, early drizzle should clear becoming mostly dry and bright but the wind is a north westerly so it's cold. Things to plan and sort out today, my head already hurts

Dictionary definition of Autumn here this morning, cloudy, overcast windy, cool. Must have had a lot of rain overnight as we have puddles on gravel which is on top of, basically, sand!!

Must have come from Cornwall, saw a Pasty flake in one of the puddles!!!

Had a great drive down to New Quay yesterday, beautiful sunny clear morning, clouded over in afternoon, pleasantly warm. Then around 7pm the rain started and hasn't stopped since, very heavy at times during the night .

Back from the early shop, local radio says the day for turning on heating is October 20th and not before. 18 degrees at the moment, overcast and very little wind so no danger of pasty flakes drifting across the Tamar.  Now I fancy a Rowes all day breakfast one, best not, it is Fish and Chips today and struggling to get weight off not put more on.  

Fond memories of New Quay Paul, hope the rain stops soon.

12 degrees and bright and sunny here.  Quite pleasant really.  Shopping day today but not much else on the cards..

After 20+c yesterday, the thunderstorms and serious rain yesterday, now clear skies and 5c!

All as forecast but still a big change...

Noticeably cooler this morning 13 degrees at moment but sunny. Not much planned as rain forecast later, all little jobs done on van.

Quite pleasant yesterday and should be a similar day today with plenty of sunshine. The bad news is there was widespread frost overnight futher north and wintry showers are expected on northern hills. We still have a brisk cold wind blowing from that direction.

After yesterday morning heavy rain, it dried up around 3pm and sun appeared. Overnight was dry but at 8am this morning the heavens opened and heavy downpour for half hour. Now bright with broken clouds.
Temp 9°, real feel 4.

Not too bad today.  9 degrees and sunny but there is a bit of a breeze which makes it feel a bit cooler.

That's all the odd jobs done now so feet up and telly for the rest of the day.

A lovely bright but chilly day here. For the first time since sister in law went back I put the radiator on in the dinning room to dry a couple of things for our trip on Monday. Hopefully this weather will hold for Monday and Tuesday in Scarborough.

Had a few short and sharp showers but otherwise quite a nice day in Cardigan Bay. Drove to Lampeter today. What is it about rural towns that don't open shops on a Saturday of all days?

Ground frost on the grass, cool fresh breeze ,nice walk under the stars again, Howlets calling down in the woods, nice Vixen coming out of Sewerby woods, Tag didn't catch her scent.

 Probably an overkill but drained all waters from van yesterday. Not planning other than day trips this year so best done rather than forgetting....

Bright and sunny here but very cold again. Got one short trip to sort out for next weekend and we'll use it to drain the van down for winter.

Couple of showers overnight but now blue sky , not a cloud to be seen,  temp only 6°. No rain forecast for today or tomorrow,  all change again Tuesday onwards (that's OK as we go home Tuesday). Down into New Quay today, maybe actually see a dolphin for a change.

Like Tony, bright and sunny but cold, Autumn is most definitely here.  Already drained the van down for winter, then realised it will need to be filled again for the hab check...DOH!!!!
