Hi Everyone
We hope to collect our Gatcombe by the weekend and feeling excited at the prospect. We are new to all this so I guess there is lots to learn. We are based in Norfolk near Norwich so there are lots of places to go to locally to try out the Gatcombe.
We are not sure yet if we will combine sailing and camping as need to look at suitability for towing our Wayfarer dinghy. Our first task is to get a good valeting done as our new purchase needs a freshen up, it's looking a bit neglected.
We need to give our new vehicle a name and once decided I'll share our choice with the forum.

We have christened our new Gatcombe 'Gigi'

Yes we brought Gigi home last night and so far all is well. Today we drove to Hickling and went for a sail and then started to read the manual and made a cup of tea. Gigi is desperate for a thorough valet inside and out, so not set up for sleeping in yet, but can't wait to properly start using her.
I'm now going to check out possible valeting services in gthe Norwich area on the web.
