Sticky mess
Hi
Last season I had an issue with side hab window popping off it’s hinge, resulting in driving home with said window taped in place with masses or duct tape.I now have a lot of residue to remove from window and body panel……..Amy ideas for some magic, non damaging stuff to remove please?

Re: Sticky mess
I would try white spirit first, then one of the proprietary sticky stuff removers if it doesn't work, test in a hidden are first to check for any adverse effect.

I don’t know if these will work but I’ve always got a tub in the cupboard, they shift many things.

put some thin oil ref 3 in 1 oil or duck oil as we call it in the trade this will make the residue brake down and then can be cleaned off with brake cleaner spray

Re: Sticky mess
Plus 1 to Paul. WD40 is amazing for removing just about any residue from sticky tape or labels - but do check it first in an unimportant area.
