Could be good news for campers.

Just beware of the clean air zone.

As predicted,  further extension....

But of course there's the extra £9 per day to travel within the new low emission zone, in which Baltic Wharf is situated. That adds a minimum of £18 per stay. So to stay just tomorrow night will cost £45.60.

It's a very convenient site - but not at that price in February!

I thought there was a route you could take to avoid the zone but just looking at zone map, I dont think you can avoid it.

Wow,

it was pretty obvious that there would be another extension but I wasn't expecting it to be that long. But given how long planning processes take, I shouldn't be that surprised.
As Paul says, there is no route in to the site avoiding the LEZ.
Happily, after checking the .gov site t'other day, it appears my 'van is exempt.

So, I think we'll probably have another visit, maybe in the autumn.

Any news on the roadworks outside yet, with a possible completion date?
The original route in from the west was much easier.

Someone on Twitter was saying it’s £480.20 for a family of five for a week at Easter, which sounds a lot. And that’s without any LEZ charges. I was on my own admittedly, but it was only £24.32 per night in 2021.

Strange, my 2.2l Boxer shows Bath £9, Bristol £9, Portsmouth £0, not that I intend to go to Portsmouth, although only 7 miles from us smile!
