-And the next yawning bore, the sensored1 Olympics!

Watching TV or listening to the radio, whatever is on, now HAS to have a reference to the censored! Olympics.

Am I the only one already fed up with it? And it hasn't even started yet!

me and the wife couldn't give a flying censored! about the olympics, maybe it's an age thing but i couldn't care less about grown men playing hop skip and jump, and as for professional footballers and the like i tend to think they are doing it for themselves more than their country, think how much those billions of pounds could have benefited our own economy, still the olympic village will give thousands more foreigners somewhere to live paid for by the british taxpayer. rant over, back to me knitting

Anyone for Tennis ?? Empty Military Dictatorship?

Post by Dutto Thu Jul 12, 2012 7:36 pm

Hi there,

I was distressed to see at the Thames Jubilee Pageant that we apparently live in a Military Dictatorship.

(Please don't claim otherwise as every male member of the Royal Family was in a military uniform and even the Princess Royal is apparently an Admiral of the Fleet! Good grief, I even saw that Prince Edward bloke in an Air Chief Marshal's uniform last week and he couldn't even get past basic training for the Marines!!)

Anyway, apparently we are now going to deploy 3,500 members of the Army to guard the Olympics because of yet another cock-up by our (for lack of a better printable word) government.

Why use the Army? Oh yes, I forgot. It's not because we live in a military dictatorship it's because the same eejits have cut down the police by about 15%!

They would be in real trouble if the miners went on strike eh? Oops! Forgot again! There are hardly any miners left now and we import most of our coal from Poland at twice the cost of the subsidy we were paying the miners!!!

Best regards,
