Leveling Empty Leveling

Post by MCRJ Sat Jul 17, 2021 5:43 pm

Just had an automatic self leveling system fitted to my 2016 Nuevo. It's an Am-Plo system. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar system fitted, and wondering if they were pleased or not with it. Anyone had to manually lift the jacks up if the battery was dead.
Thanks. Malcolm.

We've got an E & P system fitted to our Broadway. On the whole it's great. Sometimes it's better to manually level the van as the automatic option tends to raise the jacks higher than necessary. Never had to retract the jacks manually. The hydraulic pump and gubbings are mounted externally between the chassis rails so additional jacks would be required to prevent a visit to A&E or the morgue. They used to mount the pump in one of the locker spaces which made the manual retraction more feasible.
Ours now has one leaking piston seal and it looks as if there may be quite a delay in getting a replacement jack from Holland.

Good afternoon, I’ve also been considering fitting the E&P system fitted to my Winchcombe. Has anyone in the forum had a levelling system fitted to this model? Any thoughts appreciated.
Flyingv58 and MCRJ can you tell me where the control panel was fitted in your vans? Thanks.

Hello AD. My control panel is mounted below the right hand side of the driver's seat, on the plastic. It is easy to access and view whilst standing outside, with the driver's door open.I also have a remote control.
