Drop down shelf on the Broadway

On the current Broadway model there is a drop down shelf under where the TV point up is which extends the working surface that’s over the fridge.

I’m wondering if any one has had the drop down shelf fitted to a Nuevo ?

When it’s folded down while not being used how much does it protrude into the seating/bedding area ?

It's a useful shelf, we use it quite a bit.  BUT it does make raising the nearside bench seat difficult - cushions dont go past the shelf.  We find we have to virtually take the cushons off.  It would be OK if you mainly use that locker from outside.  Dont know if the arrangement is the same in the Nuevo.

It's a very useful shelf. Having had a Nuevo, I am sure it will work in exactly the same way as on the Broadway.

Yes I guessed the nearside bench cushion would be a issue, but tend on to access under the bench at bedtime to retrieve the Duvaly’s and pillows so the shelf will be down

Looking forward to the extra space when getting a meal

We find difficulty in accessing under the bed with the shelf down - the back cushion needs to be out of the way  and the base cushion at a sort of slant near the passenger seat to get it far enough forward in order to lift the base.

The shelf is extremely useful but I agree, it is difficult to raise the nearside bench with the shelf down.
I have arranged stuff so that I it's all outside gear in the nearside locker..cables, hoses, chairs, etc and they can be accessed from the outside without lifting the bench seat.
The Duvalays fit (tightly) under the offside bench.

We have such a shelf in our Bourton and as others have commented it's an annoyance when trying to get into the locker underneath. We don't use it that much and are thinking of taking it out. It would also then give a better surface to lean back on (like on the other side of the van) when lounging and watching TV at the other end of the bench seat!
