Damaged Gel Coat Empty Damaged Gel Coat

Not sure how this has happened - it's loose, but difficult to take out without disturbing the mastic.  Any ideas how to fix or should I let Marquis have a look at it under guarantee? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If the van is under warranty, I’d not risk invalidating that warranty by having a go myself in case water ingress has already started.

However, it will only be fixed under warranty if it is a manufacturing fault. If they have any grounds at all for deciding it's damage, you'll end up paying.

Looks like an air void under the gell coat , needs scraping out and filling with  marine epoxy gel coat  filler then flatting with 1200 wet  dry then painting  , should  be a warrenty job

the usual abyssmal quality of motor home fibreglass work (not just AS either they all seem to be as bad as each other)

Not just motorhomes  I have seen this  Problem  on grp boats ,usually on corners whare air is trapped between matting and gell coat !,
