Hi all
Ive just been directed here by autosleeper as I,m looking for some advice to help me finish a resto job on a 1985 rimini campervan.
I normally do motorcycles but this project kind of landed in my lap three years ago and as I like to have a stab at stuff ive not done before i thought well why not.
Ive rebuilt the van using the donor shell of an 85 panel van that belonged to a freinds father who had owned the vehicle from new and was in great condition as it had been garaged for most of its life, my friend gave it to me when michael (his father) passed away as he knew i,m always keen on older vehicles and that it was going to a good home, three months later I was offered a AS rimini that was a mot failure as it was rotten undrneath tho the camper actually looked immaculate, it.s virtually finished now with every piece of the original camper in place.
I'll post up some pics soon.

Welcome to the ASOF.
Nice to see someone restoring an older camper (and a Trafic to boot!).
Are you sure it's a Rimini and not an RV50? '85 seems a bit early for a Rimini.

yup defoe a rimini... it used to say it on the front wings..
