My second introduction Empty My second introduction

So this is really my second introduction as my first time I didn’t have a van.

Well I have just put a deposit on a mid 1990s autosleeper symphony .

It’s still to have a MOT, service , belt change and habitation check but If they go well it’s all mine.

It’s got over 90k on it but it’s the 2.5TD so should be ok :fingers_crossed:

Just need to get the gearbox modified so it doesn’t fill with water .

Anyone had this done ?

Hopefully when I get it I can help others as people on here have helped me .

Hi and welcome from the East Neuk of Fife.   wave

To protect your gearbox from water, you need to check the condition of your scuttle and the rubber pipe which should come off the bottom of the collection chute. Also check the nearside for spillage over the battery if parked tilted to the left. I made a cover for mine.

If you can get to grips with the search engine there are loads and loads of previous threads covering this subject for different versions.
