Hi, I have just traded down from a big motorhome to a compact van conversion - a 2 year old Warwick Duo now the kids have flown the nest.

We live on the South coast in Weymouth and have been motor-homing for about 18 years - started with a VW type 2 before they became a bit of a 'cult' machine.

At the moment we are working our way through the van - finding new things; scratching our heads javascript:emoticonp(' scratch head

') and saying 'what's that'? But also finding a host of niggling things that I need to get sorted before our 'big trip' down through France in a couple of months.

This weekends unhappy find was a flat leisure battery...odd when we have a solar panel. On closer investigation, taking the panel off the roof and checking the output the voltmeter is reading '0' volts. Ah well, yet another thing to sort.
