Re: telly socket
I’m not familiar with an Executive 2pin socket (I assume that’s what you were referring to) but I guess you have 3 options if I’ve understood your post correctly.
1- Buy or get made a cable with the correct Avtex plug on one end and the correct 2pin at the other end. There was a great guy (on eBay if I remember) who knew Avtex plugs well and made me a custom lead at a great price.
2- Buy a cig lighter to 2pin adapter if such a thing is actually available.
3- If you have the skills, cut the cig lighter plug off and fit a 2pin plug. If I remember the Avtex plug is 4pin but pin info was available on the net when I chopped mine up a few years ago. It will be 2 wire at the cig lighter anyway.
Edit... Just seen you have Executive in profile but it’s for a Nuevo.

Re: telly socket
Is your plug/socket like this: one blade is wider.

If so, simply cut off & swap plugs.

Re: telly socket
I would make up s lead with a cigar lighter socket on one end and a two pin plug on the other. If you change your van you are more likely to need the Avtex lead than one with a two pin plug

Re: telly socket
You can buy the adaptor ready made from either a decent caravan shop or eBay, I've got one somewhere that I no longer need.

Hi
I agree with Paul do not cut the plug off, it probably contains a fuse as well, have a look round I am sure you will find and adaptor to suit
Regards

Re: telly socket
Sorry to mis-lead, I assumed the TV would be used in one van only, & not have a plug in a socket to a plug in a socket!
