Hi all broadway owners,

How do i go about sealing the large rear rooflight.
The rear of the rooflight lets one hell of a draught through it.
Has anyone got any solutions????

Hello Autosleeper owners i am a new member Empty roof light

Post by bedford1984 Mon May 21, 2012 9:27 pm

hi from bradford wave get up on the roof and unscrew the outer section of your roof light, clesn the roof of all old sealant then remove all old sealant off the sky light. then apply new sealant preferably silkaflex to the sky light side and reseat and rescrew down then remove the excess once all screws are tight this should work, but put extra where you think the draught is coming from, hopethis helps.

Welcome to the forum from down the road, bit more of an intro would be good.

If its a new one tackle the dealer to sort it out - it is a known issue with roof lights. If its an older van buy a mini heki rooflight to the the one fitted.
Was the van bought locally?
