Thanks, the Camera looks good for inspecting my cavity walls to see how much muck has dropped down across the damp course. "not suitable for medical purposes" makes the mind boggle!
Looks like a trip in the van to Hayling is on the cards for Thursday.

Also good to see that elusive fuse and reset button on Truma combi.

Guys I have an endoscope which has  usb connectivity and can be connected to phone or tablet/laptop.Led Lights built in around camera  tip and gives a clear picture as focus and brightness adjustable from phone . Was around £8 on offer  from Euro car parts but Amazon do them between 10-20 quid depending on length of cable . Try searching flexible usb camera or endoscope. Has already confirmed piston damage a couple of times on timing belt breakages.

Sounds like a great idea kaspian, will be looking for one of those!

Anyone thinking of the rotary polisher, yes it is cheap, you have to be very careful though not to damage the paintwork with one of those. You really need an orbital movement machine.

I never realised I needed an endoscope, but now you've put the idea into my head, I must invest in that invaluable gadget.

I bought one of the Amazon endoscopes. Despite the camera lens lighting up, it wouldn't work on any of the dozens of apps I downloaded to get it to work, it went in the bin. It had come from China.

Just had a look on Amazon at the camera. One has 100% positive reviews all either on 15th April or 19th April.

Very strange!

Fake reviews was a topic covered on Rip-off Britain last week. Multiple reviews on same date was one thing to look for , mentioned on the programme. There are companies selling reviews.

I bought one too that claimed to work on an app in my android tablet, never did. However I found a programme which lets me use it on a laptop. Not as convenient but at least it worked, I'll post its name if I can find it!!

Bought one, from Amazon,  loaded up the app and it worked fine once I had sussed out the plug. Not the best picture, but for £10 I'm happy.
