...where are you staying on the island ?  we recently spent a few weeks there, firstly at Heathfield farm Campsite, at Freshwater, quite good, secondly at Windmill Campersite, near Carisbrooke castle, very quirky (there's a post about it on Motorhome and Camping chat), thirdly a CC site at Southlands, Newchurch, very good.
Hope you have better weather than we had.....

Mostly wildcamped on The Island, but did spend a couple of nights at The Orchards, Newbridge. I have stayed at Heathfield before now.
Weather was ok but storm Orphelia was a tad windy Monday evening. Strangely calm the following morning.
