generator honda

Hi whats the pros and cons having a generator Camp Site pitches expensive and you have to leave early..Thinking of going on a long trip in the winter..Dose anyone use one and how often used.Any tips or help.The generator will cost 1200 1000 with caravan club discount..Ive always wondered a bit of wild camping or just the freedom when abroad if its bizzy don't have to search around. Ive been to spain wild camping everywhere any tip would be a help thanks....
