Auto-Sleeper Spare Parts
Hi
I have a 2003 Nuevo (ES) in which, recently, the shower room wash basin became brittle and fractured around the waste outlet and dropped out. I have stuck it back with duck tape. Autosleepers can no longer provide the replacement basin or the complete vanity unit and I haven't been able to find anyone here (E Hants) who could do a repair on my one. I don't really want to fit an alternate basin as I would then lose the vanity unit underneath and have to box in the pipework. Has anyone else had a similar problem and have you been able to fix it?
Regards
Geoffw

Re: Auto-Sleeper Spare Parts
Hi there,
I don't know how accessible the crack is or how "cosmetic" the repair needs to be but I have mended many, many things with Araldite Rapide (to glue two parts together) followed by Pattex Metal Putty (as a strengthening and bracing system).
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

I am not familiar with the set up of your wash basin. Part of the surround to my wash basin became cracked and I repaired it with glassfibre using matting and resin. In my case the repair does not show. Could you do something similar? It is very strong.
