Hello Empty Hello

Post by Guest Sun Sep 04, 2016 6:33 pm

Hi everyone,
I'm Peter and I'm from York
I've just taken my first dive into the world of motorhome ownership today, having bought a used Autosleeper
Palermo 2004. I played with the idea of getting an older model, had my eye on a Swift Kontiki, but saw this one and decided to lift the budget. Never been in one before but always liked the idea of them.
Owned a traitor tent some 15 years ago and that's the extent of my motorhome and caravan ing knowledge!
Sounds daft, I know! But as the three kids are out of school and university is calling the youngest, I'm hoping the wife and I can have some weekend breaks in it, though I doubt there'd be enough room for our two dogs!
I'll no doubt be reading all the tips! Even asking advice, but for now I just wanted to say hello!

Hello Peter, and asof_welcome2 from Leicestershire, I would have thought you would have room for your two dogs, in my experience dogs love motor homing. Just ask and theres always someone on here willing to help.

You will find a MH is pure luxury to camping in a tent / trailer tent, even tugging, don`t forget to wave to other motorhomes as you travel around, it is mandatory. wave
Best regards,
Margaret
