Post by Spinner Sat Jul 19, 2014 12:51 pm

Hi Folks, I have sitting on the drive a 1996 N reg Trooper, first outting tomorrow so very excited, pitty it's raining at the moment because I so wanted to start feltling my new purchase the previous owners were loverly people and have looked after her well. However ot's always nice to do the first polish, the paint is a little faded in places, I was thinking T cut but don't know if anything else is better for bringing the shine back? Also I need to get insurance sorted and before I start the search wondered if anyone knows of any specialist companies that would give a competative quote.

All the best good times ahead Spinner.

Hi Spinner, welcome to the forum  wave
Trouble with asking advice about insurance companies is that ask 10 people and you get at least 9 different answers.
I've been with Comfort for many years because they give me the best value / cover for my circumstances, but they may not be the best for you.

Hello and welcome from Connah's Quay.

As Frank says, asking about insurance could confuse you!! I'm with Adrian Flux but they're not everyone's cup of tea. Always given me a good price though.

asof_welcome2 from Warrington

Nip down the road to Sunlight Leisure and see if they have any Silky (Caravan Cleaner) , Its not as agressive as T Cut and easy to use.

As others have said Insurance can vary so much but have a look at Safeguard,  Caravan Guard,  Comfort.    If you are in either of the major clubs try them as well
