Nuevo EK 2010 Swivel seats

I have had my nuevo ek 2 berth motorhome (from new) for over 3 years. In that time I have noticed that the task of swivelling the front seats round when we pitch up has become much harder. In the past I have used "3 in 1 multipurpose easing oil" on the mechanism under the seat but I still find the action stiff. Can anyone recommend another method to help overcome this problem. In addition the same can be said for operating the red lever just underneath the seat at the front. Thank you in anticipation.

Sorry to hear of your problem. My Nuevo is an 05 and I have never had your problem. I wonder if it is something other than lubrication that is the issue

Mine are stiff. I used some WD40 which helped.

There isn't anything caught on it from underneath by any chance ?

Hi Roger, My Sigma is the same, With having wear & tear in the shoulders it irritates me trying to pull the lever it's that stiff. Deka

My new Broadway FB was the same. I used silicon grease to lubricate the friction rings.
Works fine now and has been for 12 months.

I think they have to be stiff for safety, but silicone grease is a good idea and longer lasting than WD40

If you can get synthetic grease, its even better, I used Loctite Super Lube Synthetic grease. 
Problem is, its difficult / expensive to get hold of in the UK.

Thank you to the members who have provided me with advice with reference to my swivel seats which are difficult to turn in my Nuevo EK. I have been able to purchase a tube of "Super Lube - synthetic grease" as suggested by Allan. I will let you all know how I get on.
