I need a pup tent Empty I need a pup tent

I am thinking of getting at  Gelert Chinook 3 Man Festival Tent to use as a pup tent for our girls to sleep in when they come with us in the van.

Argos website says that the pitched size is H200, W160, L320cm.

They also have a Regatta 2 Man Dome Tent which has a size of H110, W150, L308cm.

Is there a standard size for a pup tent or do you think these would be okay?

Cheers

Festival tents are really meant to be cheap disposable items - use once and dump. Many are left on festival grounds after the festival has finished - SUPER LITTER. I don't know how well or how often they would stand up to heavy rain and winds.

I don't know how large your girls are, but speaking for adults, it's generally reckoned that you need a 3 person tent for two people to be comfortable. The Gelert one is supposedly 3 man @ 160 cm wide, while the Regatta is 2 man @ 150cm wide which goes to show that you cannot rely on makers descriptions.

Peronally, I would rather go for something with a proper name behind it, Vango, Karrimor, Andre-Jamet etc...
