Hi Folks, We have a 2011 Lancashire EK,we love our van but we have to put our foot on the foot brake and put the hand brake off to get the drivers seat turned. Its ok when we are on the level but if we are on our ramps its tricky.Has anyone had any problems with theirs,Thanks   Jubejube

Hi Jubejube
Welcome to the forum from a sunny warm Bridlington, your drivers seat should clear your hand brake if the seat height is adjusted high enough.

I had to release the handbrake on my Topaz when I turned the seat, and I left it in gear., could always put chocks under the wheels, as I did.

So sorry forgot to say  asof_welcome2 from Leicestershire, I`am afraid I don`t use ramps, as long as my drink doesn`t slide off the table fine. lol4

We have had the same problem on our Lancashire but It is easy to solve.
Before trying to turn the seat move it fully forward. It will then clear the raised handbrake. I have found that you have to mess around with foreard and back whenever turning the seats to avoid various obstructions. We have even needed to open the passenger door to turn the nearside seat. However, I removed the N/S seat armrest which my wife never used and that made that easier. Turning the driver's seat is easier if you lower the steering wheel and adjust the backrest rake to be more vertical.
I suspect these tips will apply to any X250 Peugeot.
