Hello from grey Suffolk

Hi everyone. Greeting from Ivan and Chris. We are both retired, live in Suffolk, Lowestoft to be precise, both keen birdwatchers and both volunteer at RSPB Minsmere.
Just returned to a campervan after a break of 30 years. Decided to spend the kids inheritance and bought a 2007 VW Trooper with a pop up top. Bought a Vango Kela airframe awning as my wife is disabled and I knew any awning would be put up by me. Went to Thetford Forest last week on a shake down and to make a list of all the things we would need to buy/bring from home. It's a long list. The Vango was a dream to put up, once I had repositioned it a few times, and easy to take down and put away. We had fairly strong winds whilst we were there but the Vango withstood it all. Loving the T5, easy to drive, a doddle in traffic and a very comfortable bed!
Planning on spending a few days in Thetford Forest in early April.
