We stay out the sun GH and get the parasols up, we learnt our lesson in the Canaries islands years ago.
Clouds breaking up now, really warm.

The forecasters got the forecast wrong for this area again, maybe if he spent more time reading the forecast than goofing about, he might get it right    Whistle1
You have a nice day too, GH. Wife's cooking a Isle of Bute roast beef dinner  , smells lovely, MCCanns roast jacket tatties and sweet corn.
Have a nice day.

Well Boaby slab laying started in fine rain and now it's got a bit too heavy to keep bailing the mortar back in to the joints! Soaked through and with ruined/ knackered lower back , I can almost feel the arthritis coming on..... what happened to the promised sum or is that the weekend?

Have you the same duff forecasters we have Kaspian, used to watch " Heather with the weather" back in the day.
If you've finished laying slabs, have a wee half ( medicinal purposes mind) get in the shower with a can and relax.
It's starting to dry up now, very mild, settling down for awhile after our roast beef dinner.

We’re in Kent and 30 yesterday and hotter today, not used to it. 27 year old Landrover with big van on the back on a 300 mile tug was fun yesterday, NOT. Aircon stopped whenever we did lol.

Fillets, along with Bute lamb arrived before noon, we have our parasols out , so no need for sun cream plus it's cooler here on the coast, I'm not a sun bather Tony.
Have a nice afternoon before the rain comes, again.

It's clear as a bell here Chris, you must be a sound sleeper, you must have missed the big stuff.
Enjoy your pork butties.

Not a cloud in the sky over this side this morning. Hardly a breath of wind too. Sitting with the door open I can hear the trains heading up and down the WCML about a mile west and the occasional airliner climbing away from Manchester heading south towards the sun spots of the Med. Nowhere near as many as previous years. Not much, belay that, no birdsong at all and not a whisper from the M6, just a mile to the east.

Late yesterday afternoon and into the evening we got high cloud and the odd spot of rain, but no thunder, lightning or downpour at all.

Warm already this morning. Muttly wouldn’t walk yesterday I think it was too warm for him. He spent the day on the floor in the dinning room. I will leave walking him today.
Perhaps if it’s like this tomorrow we might have a drive out and have a picnic some were.

We've had rain overnight, but I woke to blue skies. However mid first cuppa and it had clouded over. I've just finished that tea and we're back to not a cloud in the sky. The 7.15 Ryanair 737 to Majorca has just grumbled over, climbing out of Manc at 18,000ft. The odd yap and snaffle from magpies is the only bird noise.

Nice fresh coastal breeze, only air traffic is the wee single screw parachute airframe from local airfield, noticed the social distancing when they free fall.
Showers forecasted for later.
