Power Steering Empty Power Steering

Post by minky58 Mon Sep 30, 2013 4:09 pm

Well I've finally made my mind up to have power steering fitted to my Talisman up! Although it's ok at speed it's parking and low speed manoeuvres that are a pain sensored1 I'm having it fitted by Chris in Stratford on the 20th. I will keep you updated.

Quite a few of my club members have had their vans converted by Chris and they are all delighted with the results.

A friend has just has his van done by Easy Steer in Bolton. £25 dearer than Chris but more convenient for anyone up this end of the country.

Hi Nora, did he lose any "bed length" as he was concerned about?

Unfortunately I did not have the power steering fitted as planned due to problems with the gearbox. 'Delilah' is now waiting to go for repairs.

No, I don't think so. He's very chuffed with it, I think he's using the van now just for the novelty value!
