Beware the AA width rule.
I noticed that my Nuevo ES is around an inch wider than the 7'6" limit imposed by the AA (I'm a member). I contacted the AA to see if I was covered. They said No, and refunds are not possible.
I asked them to reconsider their width rule as this may effect many motorhomes.
They have just come back to me and said they should be able to give me a definitive answer in under eight weeks.
The RAC has the same rule. Mayday seems to be OK.

Re: Beware the AA width rule.
RAC Arrival Scheme through C&CC states its benefits are ......
[*]Cover for large motorhomes over 5.5 metres (18ft) in length, 2.3 metres (7ft 6 in) in width or a gross weight of 3.5 tonnes.
so that's over 18ft length, over 7' 6" width and over 3.5 tonnes. I quote''No width or length restrictions for caravans/trailers/motorhomes''
CC Mayday is through Greenflag and I quote....''.No size or weight restrictions, we cover any combination of car, caravan and motorhome.''
AA does not appear to be interested in the motorhome market.

Missed that on the RAC. Mayday/greenflag seems the better deal.

Dont know how the AA are not interested in motorhomes when they are the backbone of the Safeguard Policy

Hi
We were with RAC for years, noticed combined length rule when changed caravan to slightly longer model, towed with VW T4.
In caravan club anyway, never a problem with Mayday, service excellent on times when needed, insure motorhome with Caravan Club, very good price, also Jill not keen on wild camping so CLs at £5/7 night great.

Re: Beware the AA width rule.
I have RAC Arrival, I double checked before I joined, use to be in the RAC years ago for all my cars and later caravans, only changed as I had breakdown cover with my car insurance at that time, cannot fault the service on the odd occassions when we had to call them out, one year they had an axcle flown out to us from Germany when we were in the south of France, two older French men turned up in an old battered van, and fixed it, didn`t cost us a penny. I am covered no matter who`s vehicle I am in, I rejoined when I bought my MH.another time in Samour, when had a problem with caravan, we were taken to a hotel for the night , caravan repaired next day.

Those measurements cover me at the moment, also will if and when I change mh`s as I cannot go larger due to it being my everyday vehicle.
