Newbie seeking Symbol ES Empty Newbie seeking Symbol ES

Post by Jane C Wed Jun 19, 2013 2:16 pm

Hi

I'm Jane and had a Talisman in the past - beautiful vehicle - had to sell due to bad ankle accident but now want to get back in the 'saddle' and am looking for a Symbol ES up to 6 years old. Love, love, love wild camping in Scotland especially the magical Isle of Mull. Just spent a week there and the weather was awesome and so was the holiday (hired a motorhome). Looking forward to the freedom of the open road again.

Hi Jane, Welcome to the forum wave
We love wild (and tame) camping in Scotland too! not all that keen on Mull though think_smiley_46 The island is beautiful but the islanders can be a bit snotty.
Off to the Outer Hebrides early next month smile!

Hi Roger

I bought a symbol ES and took it straight to west coast of Scotland for a 10 day trip wild camping (well, 2 nights on a site) and had a fab time. Such a manoeuvrable and versatile little vehicle. Just got back from a week in the Lakes and still loving the van (who is now known as Mabel!). Had to take it back to dealer unfortunately as it had cracked tyres, boiler and fridge not working, screws and hinges loose/coming off, etc, etc. All happy now. Next trip, Glencoe in October - if all working OK, will be toasty. J
