Hi From Ireland Empty Hi From Ireland

Post by Annevan Mon May 20, 2013 1:06 am

HI everyone, I have just bought a Ford Duetto campervan. I had a larger motorhome for a few years but having been motorhomeless for a year I'm so excited to be back on the road. I spent ages researching and decided I wanted an Autosleeper but thought I would have to travel to UK to purchase. Delighted to find one in Ireland, 2005,spotless and so dinky, small but perfectly formed!
I have a few problems to sort but thats for another day. As a mechanically clueless female going solo this time and hoping to learn, this site is great.

Hi Annevan,

Welcome to the forum, you will find the members friendly and helpfull.

good to see another Autosleeper in Ireland.

All the best with your Duetto, our van is on a Ford Transit Chassis. Good to drive and reliable with plenty of Ford garages for any servicing etc. We get close to 30mpg so fairly economic.

Anne,

On the 25th August there is a "cycle challenge" to do a single lap of Lough Neagh near Belfast. wave

Check out http://www.lapthelough.org for details. look here

It should be fun, especially if we manage to find a fine day! allthumbz

It is also a good chance to get the begging bowl out and con people into sponsoring you to complete the lap; especially those who think you might be well past it! Whistle1

Best regards,

Ian
