Hi Everyone,
I have just joined the forum a few minutes ago and am introducing myself (and the better half)
We are retired and are the owners of an Autosleeper Amethyst (2000 model) purchased late last year.
We live in Grimsby (North East Lincolnshire ?) although I originally hail from Glasgow - last lived there almost 50 years ago when I came south to work, so no clues to my age there.
Would be interested to hear from other monocoque owners - I previously owned a van conversion and am finding the A/S very draughty at nights (from up front) - any comments?
Regards all out there, Jim.

Welcome to the forum from Paul and Carol in North Wales. handshake
Plenty of monocoque owners on here to hopefully swop ideas, I'm not one though as our's is a van conversion.

Hi Jim and welcome
We're just from down the road from you - Burton upon Stather just outside Scunthorpe
We have quite a few friends in Grimsby so go over there quite often
Hope you enjoy it on here
Cheers
Stevo

Welcome to the forum Jim.
As regards the drafts from the front of your van I can think of two possible things to try.
1 put the heater control lever to "recirculate" at nights
2 try taping over the vent holes at the lower edge of the door trims.
Before doing this you could hold you hand over the area to check for drafts.

I have spent ages in my van trying to reduce drafts. The only good thing about a windy day is that it allows you to feel around the van to find drafts and work out how to cure them.
