As we are not returning to Hendre Mynach Touring Park next year I just thought I would post a link for our job to see if anyone else fancied having a bash at it!

The ad underneath "yours" is a barrel of laughs:Tommy-Darcy wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
"Applicants need to have their own caravan or motor home. In exchange for the pitch (with electrical hook up, gas, private shower, and laundry access), we would expect help to clean the facilities and re-cycle rubbish for 2 hours on both Saturdays and Sundays. We would also ask that participants be prepared to assist with ground maintenance and site sitting on 2 days during the week, so that there is someone to meet and greet customers if we have a day out."
So that's two people working 2 hours every Saturday (4 hrs @ time and a half?) two hours every Sunday (4 hrs @ double time?) plus two people working two full days during the week (i.e. 4 days work).
The Salary? Free Pitch with e/h/up,Free Gas,Free Laundry, Free use of Private Shower ~ bonus paid for Bank Holidays

Very much so!

Re: Anyone fancy a job............
This is a sample from a work in progress I am doing at the moment;
I think at this point it is only fair to mention for anyone contemplating going down this route that when an advert states “Would suit fit and active retired couple”, this usually means that you will need to be largely self-financing as the wages, if any, are not great; that you have full use of all your limbs and muscles, as you will need the agility of a lemur with the arms of an orang-utan to get to those hard to reach areas whilst using a petrol hedge trimmer ; that you are of an age where-by you have gathered enough life skills to see you through the school holidays and that you have no immediate dependants in need of your attention, for example babysitting the grandchildren.
Rather fitting
Oh and PB, I am thinking of putting an instruction leaflet together for problems such as this as I wonder what they did before I came along

Hi there,
Having read the great majority of your Posts over this summer I think "book" would be a better description rather than "leaflet"!

Enjoy the winter wherever you finish up!

Best regards,

Hi there,
Love the sentiment. I've just had a mate from Primary School days visiting for the weekend and I proudly showed him an email from India that arrived on "Teacher's Day" last week and which thanked me for work I did there ten years ago.
Keith responded by telling me of one of his apprentices who had soared up to "management". Showing a visiting dignitary around the workplace the former apprentice introduced Keith with the words:
"This is Keith who was my mentor when I first joined the company. He taught me everything he knew; and in the afternoon we did something different."

Best regards,

Ian
