Air conditioning
Good evening. Can anyone answer this question. Was away in France in the summer and air conditioning unit started to leak water after heavy rain. Got home took it to dealership who checked it out for a week spraying it with water from all sides and angles .could not find any leak so took it home. Been checking it when we had heavy rain ,been ok until last night checked it out to find a wet carpet. Going back to dealership tomorrow . Can't see what they can do.as they couldn't find a problem last time

Re: Air conditioning
Blocked scuttle drain allowing water via pollen filter is usual cause of wet carpets in a cab.

Re: Air conditioning
That would be the cab air conditioner wouldn't it. For some reason I got the impression the OP might be talking about a roof mounted a/c unit. Perhaps that needs clarifying.PLOUGHLIN wrote:Blocked scuttle drain allowing water via pollen filter is usual cause of wet carpets in a cab.

Re: Air conditioning
I've found with rain getting in that it can require a very specific set of circumstances to make it happen, which is why it's not always easy to reproduce. For example a slight slope, in conjunction with wind of just the right strength and in just the right direction. One day last May, the sliding door window leaked badly in my van for example. But it's been bone dry ever since.
