2013 Broadway FB
Just arrived on site for new years eve and the next week. Filled water tank as usual, cleared the air etc. switched on heater. Water is heating correctly, taps are working and the heater is throwing out heat the problem however is that the water pump is running continually. short of switching the unit on and off manually any idea what could be the issue? (I've played with the pressure valve but this has had no effect) Grateful for any help

Failed pressure switch? Not much you can do now except as you said, turn it on only when you need it, sort it out when back home.

You could try to quickly activate the drop valve in case its not seated properly, but play safe and control from pump switch as per Paul

Cheers I'm going to leave it till I get home next week, A new valve is only £30 so I'll fit it then. I've just been on whale's website and it says it must be fitted vertically - the current valve is horizontal and, as far as I'm aware, has been since the van was new (2013).gef wrote:You could try to quickly activate the drop valve in case its not seated properly, but play safe and control from pump switch as per Paul
