Testing Truma 103 water for 12v on Gas mode.
The problem I am having is that the Gas on my Truma Ultrastore 103 refuses to stay alight . After switching on I can hear a click and the gas burner igniting, then after six seconds a clunk and the gas goes out and the red light comes on. The outer cover is missing, the water tank is full, the gas bottle is new, the manifold valve is open, the hob burners all burn full flame with no reduced flame when the boiler fires up. I found that the flame recognition probe had a crack along its entire length and replaced it with a new one, I have checked that the probe is in the flames the but still no joy. The next thing was to test is the PCB. This was be done by sending it to a company A&R Developments Ltd in Cannock. it came back repaired. worked for a couple of months, now its back to its annoying mode of not staying alight.
Before I return the PCB to A & R for further testing I am asking if anyone has any positive way of testing it for 12v with a standard multimeter?
Many thanks.
