Broadway Boxer Front mud flaps
Hi all,
I've just purchased a pair of front mud flaps for the motorhome and fixed them in place with the brackets provided.
The two small brackets clamp the mud flap to the vehicle and are tightened with just a grub screw, but at first glance the grub screws don't look at all a solid fixing for this product!
Has anyone fitted these and are the grub screws adequate in holding the flap in place, considering the extreme conditions they will be put under?

Time will tell if the fixings are up to the job. If not then the genuine Peugeot ones are also available as an aftermarket product. I bought and fitted mine a few months after I picked up the van, a very simple job and 6 years later they are still there!

I don't have a problem with the flap itself, it is a much better quality than the original ones. I only have a problem with the fixings. It's a shame you can't get the original fixing style on these newer version mudflaps.

Re: Broadway Boxer Front mud flaps
On my previous Nuevo I fitted inexpensive mudflaps with a flimsy bracket.
On my new Broadway I had decent Fiat/Peugeot ones fitted, much better.
Why are they not fitted when new? They do not cost a lot .

I have had steps fitted to my van cab doors and as they have stainless steel in there make up I decided to have front mud flaps fitted ( this was on a Peugeot).
from memory bought and fitted by a Peugeot dealer was less than £100.00.
they were on that van for five years and I had both steps and mud flaps transferred to the fiat nuevo in 2021, the dealership transferred them free of charge.

Re: Broadway Boxer Front mud flaps
My local dealer told me when I asked in March that genuine Peugeot mudflaps can no longer be ordered on the Peugeot system, so they couldn't get any. This seems unlikely but they were turning down a sale, so perhaps it's true. I might try a Fiat dealer to see what they say. I assume they're identical. I might also try a dealer on the continent next year.

Thanks for all the response, guys. Much appreciated.
I've searched the interweb for brackets similar to DBVWT's post above showing his mudflaps.
If anyone knows where I can get a couple of these brackets, that would be great, otherwise I may pop to a local scrap yard and see if there's any vans about with said brackets fitted, that I can claim cheaply.
