Leisure Battery
Hi
Have put a new leisure battery on my.2016 Auto Sleeper left heating on overnight and when the water was turner on for hot the W255 H error came up. How long should the battery last as we only used it for one night off grid using heating ang heating water? When I started the vehicle amd ram tje engine tje error cleared. It seems the control panel only seeing 11.7v for leisure is it just we have drained the battery overnight I thought it would last longer than this. Sorry am a newby and still learning. I tried the reset procedure turning panel off etc.

Re: Leisure Battery
Hi - The code shows a connection problem. Try a reset - Black button out for 10 seconds the push it in again. May be worth a try. Also check the leisure battery fuse.

One other factor - which might be relevant or not, depending on how the new battery was fitted. Was the new battery fully charged, either before fitting, or immediately afterwards? These days it's common for batteries to be supplied only partially charged, and it's quite normal for a battery to need to be charged for several hours before use.

Battery
Hi
Yes the battery was fully charged I've checked all fuses tried using mains and also checked data cable all seem.ok but I cannot clear the error W255H. Think I will have to book it in and get it checked out as its gonna be of no use if this keeps happening. I appreciate all your replies but it looks like it's not talking correctly between the units. Battery volts are good on both leisure and vehicle batteries and charging system is working OK. Control panel is flickering between vehicle battery on volts then 14 or 16v but the battery is fine.

Well done for finding it. If you're unlucky and you get this on a connection that's carrying high current it can heat up and melt/damage the connector. All of the plugs should click into place but I know from mine that sometimes they don't and can work their way out - not helped when there is a lot of spare wire looped up because A/S (and other converters) use a standard Sargent loom which is a lot longer than needed.
