Locker lock barrels Empty Locker lock barrels

Post by chromachris Mon May 20, 2024 8:45 pm

Here we go again. Just gone to lock the near side locker on our 2011 Nuevo, and one of the lock barrels has come out with the key still in it. No matter what I do I can’t get it to seat back in the lock socket? Has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it? Any advice much appreciated as I am worried about travelling with only one side of the locker secured. Many thanks.

Is this a caravan type locker door. I had a similar issue with a locker on my last caravan, but you might still be able to secure the door by turning the latch with a suitably sized flat screw driver, or a meter cupboard square ended T-key might fit. It won’t be locked but it won’t fall open either. Indeed I never got round to fixing the lock.

You probably need one of these red keys to reseat the barrel.
