That’s a great idea Ian. There must be quite a few people have got the drop down sink and could make use of them.I have recently put baskets in the Rienza cupboard because of things falling on managements head when she opens the door.
The world of 3D printing has endless possibilities but still a bit to advanced for me. I am still in the world of metal bashing.

Re: Gingerbread really!!
Thanks Dave.
The printing is actually the easy bit, here's what these needed.
1 you need 3d cad, I use Autodesk Inventor because I have it and can work it. Free though is Autodesk Fusion which is as good but I can't work it!!
2 Then you create the shapes in plan view, think pencil sketch but neater and more accurate.
3 Then you extrude the 2d shapes into 3d solids, in this case 5mm high.
4 These now get saved and the saved file sent to another freebie CURA..
5 This makes it into a file the printer can understand.
6 That gets saved to an SD Card and plugged into the printer, then press go!!
Sounds horrendous but if you were sitting here, the whole thing would take 10 mins before printing.
Probably the hardest bit is getting your head around Fusion, but, it's a freebie so download it and have a go, nothing to lose...

Put your Blue Peter hat on
Shelf grip mat works just as well and is a lot cheaper|
Fold it over rail and tape underneath.
Job done...lasted 6 years so far.

What 3d printer do you use Ian, I have been thinking of getting one, My brother in law works for Sheffield Hallam University as a project manager, he has a £6000 dual extruding printer and a new resin printer at home in his office along with the laser printers and other gizmos he uses

Creality Ender 3 V2 Chris
Basic, simple, does all I need and well once your brain is reprogrammed!
Roughly £185, filaments work out at circa £30 depending on material.
Great toy, don't worry re creating models, there's zillions free online, check out Thingiverse for example.

A couple of years ago I made a video of my first experiments with my new 3D printer, in case they're of interest. Didn't have a van then... :-)
