Bubbling Up
Hi there,
I hate it when a "money for old rope" weather forecaster tells me that something is "Bubbling Up"!
It is yet another meaningless term used to obscure the fact that they don't actually know what is going to happen.
Now you know to look out for it you will find it happens almost daily!
Grump - grump!

Nice one Brian!
Bring back Michael Fish!
On second thoughts, thinking back to the 'Great Hurricane' of '86 -maybe NOT!
OK Ian Mc Caskill with the 'non stick' magnetic clouds then!

I loved those clouds!

They started off over Lincolnshire and slowly drifted down to Kent! Just wish the weather had done likewise!

Re: Bubbling Up.
We slept through it all that night (well we could then).
I remember next day helping my neighbour reclaim his garden furniture.
We lost 2 roof tiles, he lost half his roof.
Happy days!

Perhaps thats why we slept through it.

O/H corrected me too, you are right it was 87.

Hi
I enjoyed Ian McCaskills little asides, like when he was forcasting rain for Scotland, he would add, "sorry Mother" followed by an impish grin.
As a retired Mountaineer, I loved the study of weather, but we get too many forecasts now, they are very irritating, ( why do they have to stand out in the pouring rain, or up to their knees in a puddle) and they are often wrong, especially, so called long range ones.
