Avtex TV

Hi everyone
Can you get an Avtex TV with a built in CD player (NOT DVD) as we do not have CD player in our MH and do they have a setting to power a digital aerial as ours only works in areas with a very strong signal, happy to buy one 2nd hand if any one has one for sale

Hi gemdeco,

Our Avtex tv powers the Avtex Ariel via the coax cable direct from the tv, the Ariel has a built in signal booster. Not sure if they do a set with built in CD player though.

My Avtex plays cds and dvds. Surely any TV that plays dvds also plays cds.

Funny you should ask as ours is now surplus to requirements. It plays CDs and DVDs and is an older model with the matte screen so does not suffer from reflections. The screen size is 16” diagonal. I’ve not yet given any thought to price or advertising it but PM me if you’re interested.

Hi Alan, I’ve got this older 16” model which served me well for years (bought new) and was still going strong when I fancied a new toy earlier in the year, another Avtex.
I was keeping it as a spare just in case (as you do!) but could be tempted to sell. The description ‘ultra slim’ is a bit out of date now smile!
