Autosleeper Legend Empty Autosleeper Legend

Post by John J H Tue Jul 27, 2021 6:16 pm

Hi,
I am after a Legend having only seen one recently I love the rear lounge.
The less miles and cleaner condition the better for me!
I have a very tidy 2000 Gatcombe which I may part exchange!!
Thanks

Good luck :-)  Took me about six months to find mine nearly six years ago. n  When I sold it on nearly a year ago now I more or less got what I'd paid for it.  Worth persevering as I don't think you'll be disappointed as those of us who have owned them seem to have all thought long and hard before trading them in.  Mind you at least two of us now have Marquis Hampshires, a dealer special version of the Rienza which has the same internal layout.

I’m on the same quest! Looking for a four berth.  Particularly one with the rear cycle rack and the roof ladder.  John, is it the four berth or the two berth you are after?  From what I can see across the web, there have been more two berths around recently than four?

Good luck with your search.

I understand that there are some 4 berths around, but maybe they are quite rare?

My Legend was a four berth, although I never used it as such.  There were cushions for the overcab luton and a safety net to stop anyone falling out!  there was also a ladder to climb up in to bed.  Am I right in thinking that the two berth ones had locker doors across the front of the luton?

Hello Rob,
It is a 2 berth with a ladder and bike rack that I would like.
I recently saw one for sale but without a bike rack.
Daisy is the Hampshire the sams size as the legend or more like a Gatcombe?
Thanks for your help

Hi John.  Sounds like we can keep a look out for each other here.  If I find a two berth with bike rack and roof ladder I’ll let you know.  If you find a four berth with bike rack and roof ladder, please let me know!  I’m looking UK-wide.

The Rienza and Hampshire are similar layouts to the Legends

Yje Hampshire is 23 feet long, longer than the 2 you mentioned above.very comfortable and easy to drive. great to have seating and beds which are over 7 feet long, and they are electric, meaning you can raise the height, be sitting up or legs up to relax.and the beds are a good width, easy to make up and put away bedding without moving the cushions,.

Sorry for delay not on computer as much these days.

It is easy to put on a bike rack if you buy a van without one, as there are supports built in by AS for that purpose.
