Gasit tank maintenance

I recently saw a photo of a 5 year old gasit tank that was heavily  corroded   . After reading the gasit web site it states an uncovered tank should  be treated  with stone chip such  as gasit stone chip befor fitting  ,  and must be  re painted every year  after , I did not  know this, and wondered  if other  members  are aware.

Whether other members are aware (presumably you were not) this has been discussed  before...
