Fullstop Purple Line Nemesis Plus
I have a brand new Nuevo and am looking for some light weight extra security. The
Fullstop Purple Line Nemesis Plus has been recommended. Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

Unable to help with your enquiry Purple Line Nemesis Plus but I can share with you the added security I have added to my Motorhome
Thatcham 1 Alarm, Professionally fitted deadlocks to driver & passenger doors.
A Fiamma handle that locks over the door while the motorhome is unattended plus locks on all the windows making access by the windows more difficult, plus a couple of other devices.
I except that whatever precautions you take it will only delay a determined thief, but hopefully they would think twice and move on to a easier option.

Re: Fullstop Purple Line Nemesis Plus
Security for our vans has been discussed many times on here and there isn’t a one size solution that works for all.
It’s just my opinion but you have to work out the best solution for your needs.
Are you thinking about security at home, while away or both?
If you generally camp on busy sites for example, then the risk is going to be negligible. Parking up in remote places and going off walking for the day is a different matter although I doubt even the best kit you can buy would deter a professional for long if they weren’t being watched.

Just for info, this is often recommended on here (I’ve got one myself) and is a lot cheaper than the Fullstop.

That's what I use, and it hasn't been stolen (yet).

Re: Fullstop Purple Line Nemesis Plus
Hi Mr D,
As stated above all are worth considering.
I have the usual vehicle immobiliser type thingy, window type etching/tamper resistant stickers and some 'hidden' identifiers all registered on databases so I may have better luck getting it back or a more realistic payout with the insurance.
I use a disklock as a more visable deterent, 'all the time' when the van is not being driven, park up, lock up, get out.
To me its a balance between a deterent and reducing damage if the do have a go. After all do what you want but its only a plastic window to get through to get inside the van and access the cab etc.
As mentioned above, or is it below? if they want it they will take it no matter what you do.
Enjoy.
Cheers

I also have this. Its very easy and quick to fit and remove, isn't too heavy and stows easily. The only other security extras I have are a Thatcham approved Vodaphone Cobra vehicle alarm that is integrated with Sargent's tracker for which I pay the annual subscription.PLOUGHLIN wrote:Dbvwt wrote:Just for info, this is often recommended on here (I’ve got one myself) and is a lot cheaper than the Fullstop.

I keep mine in a gold secure site when not being used. When using not out of the motorhome for long periods.
Had my first motorhome broken into in Spain at the supermarket. Van bitz alarm sent them away but had a broken door lock for the rest of my trip.

I have the bigger brother Nemesis and it’s a handful to fit and remove, it’s an on your knees job! The one you are looking at is probably much easier to fit and use, the bigger one is insurance approved and will get you a discount with some insurance companies.

Thanks for all this advice guys. I've been busy and away in the van so this is the first time I have had to look on this thread.
