Nice to see another Windsor owner. We seem to be quite rare.  Why sell it? I'd hang on to it if I were you.

Nice to meet you Leytonexile  allthumbz Unfortunately our Dad passed away last year and my brother & I don't feel we'll get enough use out of the Windsor to justify keeping it.

We want it to go to a good home, to someone who will appreciate it as much as Dad did!

We also have a Smart Car & bespoke-fitted A frame.  We're not in a rush to sell this, but Dad loved taking this with him when touring the UK.  He had many happy times in the camper & was planning to head to Europe before he became unwell.

12MS, good luck with selling the Windsor. It looks a stunner.

You will have no trouble at all selling the converted Smart when the time is right. There are always folk looking for them.

12MS seriously I think you are asking £10,000 too little for your Windsor. I say that not because I am a particular A/S fan - I have had lots and lots of different motorhomes. I say it because I think its market value is over £40,000. You try looking on the internet for a similar camper at a dealer - you will be lucky if you can find one, at any price. I bought a brand new camper in 2019 and saw it for sale a few months ago for £4,000 more than I paid for it. On another occasion I bought an old campervan for £4500 in a very similar situation to yours, I gave it to my daughter who didn't take to it so she sold it to a dealer for £6500. The dealer sold it for £11,995. If you sell it to a dealer, who may just be posing as a private enthusiastic motorhomer, you may well find it on a forecourt for £10,000 more than you get for it. If in your current circumstances money doesn't matter, then sell it for £40,000 and donate a bunch of money to a charity. Rather that than enabling someone to finance their next Bentley.
One way you can tell a genuine motorhome enthusiast is to look at how long they have been members of this forum and how many posts they have made.

@GassyGassy Thanks a lot for your feedback!
It's difficult to tell where the market is right now, so we really appreciate your advice

Given your feedback we certainly won’t go below the current asking price. We’ve seen a few camper vans at a similar price, but mainly private sales, so we’ll take a look again!

@Pamcymru  I've spoken to my brother. We're going to wait a little while on selling the Smart Car & A Frame.

It's a useful little vehicle in itself & low cost to run - no tax, so we're not really in a rush to sell. We'll obviously keep you posted when we decide it's the right time!  allthumbz

Are they Mercedes with the same sort of mileage? I'm not familiar with the A/S Mercedes models, but a Mercedes base will always be considerably more expensive than a Fiat / Peugeot / Citroen. VW based campers seem to be worth £10k more than the same thing on another base vehicle. It's all in the mind - not in the engineering any more!
To tell you the honest truth if I hadn't bought a motorhome a few months ago I would snap your hand off at the price you are asking for that Windsor, and I wouldn't have told you it was too cheap!!! Whistle1

Mercedes may be dearer but the Windsor is on a Transit!  Personally  I think its priced right for a private sale..

So where did I see a Windsor on a Mercedes?
I'd better visit Specsavers . . .  FORD WINDSOR AUTO-SLEEPER 1f60e
In that case you are right for a private sale. There's nowt wrong with a Transit.

@gassygassy the Smart car we'll be selling at some point was made by Mercedes. Maybe that's where the confusion lies!  FORD WINDSOR AUTO-SLEEPER 1f609
