Roof mounted solar panels Empty Roof mounted solar panels

My Nuevo factory fitted solar panel has a 10 mm gap beneath.  Any suggestions for how I can clean the van roof beneath the panel?

A length of timber moulding, suitable size, with some rag wrapped round for me.

the gape as you say is smaller than  recommended for fitting a solar panel  and by putting a angle mount under the panel and then secure this to the angle A/S fitted to the roof will then raise the panel and will let the heat flow  and make cleaning much better .
a solar panel should be mounted using the holes provided under the panel and not screwed into the side as I take it yours has been
