Take care Chris, hope you have a good trip. Weathers the same up here, very chilly .
Walked down to the harbour with Tag to watch the sun rise. A lot more traffic on the roads, hundreds of gulls taking to the air.
Have a nice day.

Same here, blue sky and a heavy frost this morning. Yesterday we had the odd experience of bright sunshine and heavy snow falling although it didn't lie. Outpatient hospital appointment this morning, only delayed a year shrugg

Hope all you folks down south enjoy the "new" glorious 12th allthumbz

Certainly a glorious start to he day, bright blue skies and a little fluffy cloud. Light frost last night but perfect weather for anyone coming down with mid day low tides so good beach walking weather! Can't take advantage at the moment as busy at home and tomorrow have some voluntary work planned. Just booked a couple of days away from 27th on a cliff top site, only an hour up the road, told we are celebrating 48 years of marriage, as if I would remember that!! scratch head

Have a great day and happy travels anyone on the way down.

Cold frosty morning, light breeze and dry, short walk out with Tag along Sewerby fields, nice Dawn chorus and those dive bombing gulls.
Have a nice day.

Another virtually cloudless sky, cool but no frost today. Easy to get fooled into thinking it's warmer outside than it really is. My neighbours even sat out with refreshments yesterday afternoon, they lasted a whole hour before retreating back into the house snigger

Another clear blue sky morning, frost overnight. We have had more frosts this month than the whole of the Winter I reckon.
Lawn gardeners have been back overnight, I have now given up and leaving them to it. Need to refresh all the feeders today.
Have a good day all

I'm sure we've got weather but no idea what it is yet, we have a very misty morning with visibility down to about 3 or 400m. Not so cold and forecast is for a dry, sunny day with temperatures around 13°c. Good news with a bit more freedom to move around the Scotland from Friday, every little helps up!

Maybe Boaby is a man of religion, you know, like "Let us spray"? Lost me there as well I am afraid, my guess he and Tag are in the shower hugegrins

Another bright blue sky and all about is still, haven't ventured in to the greater outdoors so not sure how busy it all is. Confined to barracks at the moment as Lady G is not too well ( nothing serious) so just getting on with jobs in the yard, three days solid pressure washing, had enough now. Might take a break today before round 2.
Pair bullfinches on the feeders today, seem to have become regulars now. Heard about the ringed blackcap I found he was two years old and had flown 45km from where he was ringed. Sadly he will fly no more having hit the window!

Have a great day!

Thanks Bob, turned out nice again (hard not to say that in a high pitched nasal voice hugegrins )

Boaby, we always told by teachers to "get a spray" after PE. We didn't have showers back then scratch head

Blue skies again, this is all too good to be true. Lightest of frosts this morning, had gone by 0730. Spent some time "servicing" the van yesterday ready for our first trip in a couple of weeks, cleaned and vented the fresh water tank, gauge senders and checked everything else was working perfectly. All outside locks lubricated, jacks oiled and spare wheel carrier attacked with plus gas as it has seized solid.
Really enjoyed it, felt like holidays were on the way again! allthumbz

Have a great day all, hope the parcel van brings something nice Boaby wave

Check BBC breakfast for our weather this morning allthumbz

For those of you who are (a) lucky enough to have a Morrisons nearby and (b) enjoy a decent malt, they are selling off their stock of Deanston Kentucky matured @ £22 down from £29. This is a light easy drinking whisky and, IMHO, great value for money. Not sure if it's on sale throughout the UK though or just in Scotland shrugg

Sounds delicious to me, and it isn't even whiskey from Kentucky! hugegrins

It wasn't that good a gag in the first place Boaby so you didn't miss much!

Frost again last night, loads of stars and lovely sunrise (That'll be nearly lunchtime to Tag), back from the weekly shop by 0815 and it is 4 degrees outside, warming up fast though. One solitary goose by the river today and a handful of egrets, a few geese have passed overhead in the last few days but reckon they have all shipped off up North now. We had quite a few semi wild cats round here which were decimating the bird population, one person I know who put out feeders was happy to admit her cats were killing them. Isn't that just stupidity. scratch head

Forecast looks to be good so hope it holds for a while yet as two more sessions and all the pressure washing will be done!

Have a great day allthumbz

Just watched some recycling in the garden. Looks like a pigeon has met a grizzly end judging by the feathers left but a LTT gathered some of the feathers up for some nest building shrugg
