Hi All

Our 1st campervan, 10 yrs ago, was an AS Clubman. When we retired, we traded that in for a bigger motorhome for some European trips. Nice to have the extra interior space but found the size of the thing a bit difficult for getting out and about. Anyway, it had to go when we moved to a bungalow needing renovation AKA The Money Pit.

Fast forward 2 years, the house is done and we're missing our trips and looking for an older Symbol/Harmony etc. We know we'll be happy with the size and it won't need to live in storage. Seems like everyone else in the UK is also after these models as there's very little out there. I'm sure we'll find her in time but wanting to be travelling right now! So many places still to see.

We live on the south coast near Littlehampton, lovely place to be during lockdown as we always take an early morning walk on the dog friendly beach/greensward with our mad cocker spaniel Roly. If you're in the area we recommend a detour into Rustington, nice little shopping area, cafes etc but don't all rush - don't want to scare the residents  hugegrins

Hi, we are "down the road" a bit in Eastergate, might see you around. My friends also have a van in Wick, Littlehampton.

Hi Actionmike

I see you're a Nuevo owner. This may well be our van preference now, having done a bit more research after joining this forum and revising our budget upwards! They're clearly popular and very hard to find a decent one in this year of COVID19.

Hi Brian,
The Nuevo is A great van, reasonable size, easy to use, and it nearly fits on out drive!
Have you got a Goldwing? Both me and my wife ride bikes.
Mike.

Able to fit on the drive is essential this time round. Our last 'van had to live in storage - inconvenient and expensive.
I had a Goldwing GL1100 many years ago, fond memories! My most recent bike was a Kawasaki W800 (retro style) but don't have a bike at the moment. Get a bit twitchy at times  Whistle1

I know the feeling! Can’t be bikeless now. We both have two, don’t get much time, or weather to use them at the moment though!
My Brother has a Valkerie, lovely bike.
