Cleaning body trim
Just in the middle of the vans annual deep clean and wax, but as usual having trouble with the white(ish) trim round the body panels as in the photo

Has anybody found a good way to clean it? I’m using Meguiras ultimate compound, gets a reasonable result but not perfect.
On the rest of the body I use Meguiras polish and finish with colinite wax.

Hi Mike,
When I used to do my Clubman I always used MER with good results as it contains a mild cutter.
I think that you can buy it at Halfords these days.

That's what I intend to use next time as Silkey doesn't cut it anymore. Too much hard graft especially trying to remove stubborn fly dirt deposits.PLOUGHLIN wrote:Cif works for me.

We used Pink Stuff on those white(ish) strips, sparingly and rubbing gently. Worked a treat.
