Hi All,
Sorry to be a pest, I have just ordered a Nuevo Ek to collect in March next year.
Can anyone tell me if any of the cupboards above the front Settees are shelved and if not, are there any readily available please.

No shelves in 2019 model. I have not heard of any available.

Personally we don't feel a need, we store clothes etc in those and stack em high.

Thanks for that.
My wife has a bee in her bonnet about this (pity it wasn't there when we put the deposit down lol) maybe the dealer can add some.

I'm sure the factory could add some before delivery.

Alternatively, you could fit your own.

When we got the Warwick it was cheaper to buy the timber from B&Q, cut to size and use shelf fittings to secure than to get AS or the dealer to fit

No not really, all relatives live quite a way away.
Just can't think of anyone who is handy.

I don't know the sizes involved but what about free-standing shelves such as these...

Lakeland have a selection of such things.

Thanks Paul,
I think that could be a simple answer.
Probably get something like that from the Range or Dunelm as well.
Nearly always an answer isn't there.

We find the two lockers above the kitchen are in need of a shelf or part shelf.  Paulmold's Lakeland link prompted me to look in our local Homesence where I found a free standing wire shelf that wasn't adjustable but was cheaper.  I also found this Ikea product which is cheaper still [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

We bought a couple of chrome wire adjustable shelves from Lakeland. They work perfectly well and don't rattle when things are on them

Thank you all,i think that the adjustable  shelves is the route that we will be taking (of the least resistance) lol.
On a different matter, is it still the way of auto sleeper to fit just one adjustable arm rest on the cab seats?

Many thanks

Mine only has one on the inside of each seat when facing forward which we use.  An armrest on the driver's door side might get in the way when operating the handbrake and would have to be raised when using either cab door.  When the seats are turned to face rearwards, I'm not sure an arm rest on the inside would add much.

It was like that on our last nuevo some 12 years ago and I always felt lopsided when the seats were swiveled.
Never use them when driving as I feel that you are restricted in what you need to do.
Our last van had two and it felt better but not a game changer (I may see about getting some fitted if I can't do without.

The reason I was given is that you have a lumber support adjustment control.

Personally like you I would have rather had two arm rests on each of the front seats as the the last two of my previous motorhomes (Burstner & Knaus)

Thanks Terry,
My last van was an Elddis Autoquest 115 and had two.
When you consider how much more the nuevo costs you would think it would be fitted as standard.
This might change by the time we pick the van up next March.
