VW Gatcombe blinds?
Hi! Please can anyone tell me how to get the lower lounge area blind, that you pull up, to stay up? I've worked out that it hooks onto the top blind that you pull down, but there doesn't seem to be anything that you can attach it to, to make it stay up.
There are notches in both sides of the window frame (inside), but the blinds plastic bar isn't (stupidly?) long enough to reach both the left hand and the right hand notch, so that doesn't work! I cant find anything else in the top part of the plastic window outer frame (on the inside of the van), that could be used to hook it to, to keep it from falling down.
Hope someone might know!
Many thanks!

I have found that with mine , bar in Limbo then it just comes unlocked and all falls down
Plus comes out of the sides as well becomes annoying, especially when you close them to stop flies

Hi all
Hope everyone has had a nice christmas
Been some Blind end clips on eBay, does anyone think these would help.
At the moment there are screws in.
One side clips in the grove at the side but not the other.
The blind is now begining to rip.
No I did not put them in, anyone know which ones are correct.
Thanks
Pat

One of life’s mysteries . I never worked out what was meant to happen . I couldn’t find the correct clips to lock the blind part way up
the ones from EBay didn’t fit and nobody else could supply them so in the end I replaced the blinds with new ones that both come down from the top . Why have one from the top and one from the bottom was beyond me , when I stripped them out the bottom roller was full of rubbish also the end caps holding it all together had broken due to the plastic going brittle .
